Mane Events is a mobile beverage service that operates out of a refurbished, vintage horse trailer. At the market, they serve scratch-made non-alcoholic sodas, slushees, smoothies and lemonades with locally sourced ingredients and produce. In the cooler months, hot beverages such as coffee, cider, tea and hot chocolate round out the offerings. In addition, they provide pre-batched craft mixers in cocktail kits that guests then take home and add their own spirits while following recipes provided. Attends select Winter Market dates.

A father-daughter team based in Virginia Beach brings us NaNa Sauce. NaNa sauce is a 100-year-old family recipe for a marinade, dipping sauce glaze and bbq sauce. Made with fresh hand shredded ginger it adds a sweet and tangy Asian flair to to your favorite meats and seafood. It is fat free and gluten free. A portion of all proceeds is donated to Aid Another. Aid Another is a local Virginia Beach charity that supports the Autism and Special needs community.

Juliette is a soapmaker from Norfolk. She makes many varieties of soap using organic and natural oils, essential oils, fragrance oils (phthalate free), clays, hops, and herbs—including lavender from her own garden. She also makes a variety of beer soaps featuring VA Craft beers. In addition, she hand-makes salves, lip balms, shave bars, beard oils, facial oils, and organic insect repellents. NuLand Hot Stuff Company’s family farm is a Certified Century Farm (meaning it’s been in their family for over a century) and is located in Pasquotank Co, NC, which is referred to as Newland. The farm is where they grow hot peppers, and they manufacture their hot sauces and blood mary mixes at in Norfolk. They enjoy crafting fun flavors of “hot stuff,” where the flavors are surprising and unusual, with heat that builds (that does not offend). Between the bloody mary mixes and many varieties of hot sauce (and seasonal flavors), have some samples at the market and see what pleases your palate! Try their salad dressing, too!

Peanut City Candle Co. is a small, female-owned, SCC-registered business in Suffolk, VA. They offer 100% USA-grown soy wax candles, all hand-poured. Their goal is to provide customers with non-toxic, highly-fragrant wax products that are produced with sustainable and safe products. Their candles are dye-free and are scented with American-made, Pthalate-free fragrances. Packaging and containers are reusable, recyclable and American-made, as well. Attends select dates.

Bison meat is heart healthy, has less fat in it than chicken, more protein than salmon, and more omega-3 fatty acids than even grass-fed beef! Their Bison Hot Dogs are also a big hit at the markets!

Nikki brews Kombucha, a probiotic tea, at her studio/brewery in Norfolk. Kombucha has been around for centuries and is a a brewed beverage that is rich is probiotics and has digestive benefits. She has a set of flavors that are customer favorites that she offers year-round, as well as special seasonal flavors. Attends full time at East Beach and select dates at Harvest Market.

Soup Love specializes in 24 hour bone broths and hand crafted soups. Started as a passion project in her home kitchen, owner and head chef Amy Markman has always enjoyed cooking for her family and friends. When she began posting images of her homemade soups to her social media channels, her inbox began to fill with inquiries of how to get a bowl. Seeing the growth in interest, she decided to invest in commercial kitchen space and began producing and delivering her deliciously heartwarming soups and bone broths throughout her community, as well as joining the lineup of local farmers markets. Bones and ingredients are purchased from local farmers when possible.
